SEABROOK will need to take quick wickets in its match against Aberfeldie Park if it's to finish the season on a high in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association's North B1 at Bruce Comben Reserve.
Sitting seventh on the ladder and out of finals contention, Seabrook's task of ending the season on a high and possibly moving up the ladder was always going to be difficult with Aberfeldie Park looking to sure up top spot with a win.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Seabrook was able to play some of its best cricket for the season, hitting their highest score since round two. The team was all out for 196.
In reply, Aberfeldie Park started their innings well with both batsman getting a start and the team 0-54 at stumps.
Given their best batsmen are yet to bat, including captain Matthew Albers, only makes Seabrook's task all the more difficult.
