THE Federal Government's controversial new website has delivered mixed results for Wyndham's schools.
Created by the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority, the My School website compares schools across categories such as reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy.
It includes a profile of each school and its results, measuring its scores against the Australian average and also those that are "statistically similar".
The Banner profiled 11 schools from across the municipality, looking at results of grade 5 pupils in primary school and year 9 students in secondary college and comparing against this figure.
Of the state primary schools, Werribee and Bellbridge came in below average in reading, writing and numeracy.
Cambridge and Manorvale primary schools fared well, with Manorvale well above in all three categories and Cambridge in two.
